Job summary

Imperial London Family of Hotels is recruiting an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager for the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury Hotel in Bloomsbury, London. The role supports the F&B Manager to maintain high service standards and compliance with health and safety practices, while delivering exceptional guest experiences across all outlets.

You will oversee beverage operations, lead a team, manage stock and costs, and collaborate with other departments to maximise guest satisfaction on every shift.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Head Bartender or Assistant Bar Manager in a fast-paced environment with a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bar services and ensure smooth beverage operations across outlets.
• Liaise with F&B Manager and front/back of house teams on performance and updates.
• Respond to customer feedback professionally and drive guest satisfaction.
• Manage stock ordering and inventory for each outlet and ensure equipment is ready for service.
• Review daily sales and beverage costs and forecast future opportunities.

We are now recruiting a Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at our Holiday Inn Bloomsbury Hotel . Nestled in Russell Square in the vibrant heart of Bloomsbury, London. Our newly acquired and refurbished IHG Brand, Holiday Inn Bloomsbury Hotel with317 rooms.It’s a lively place to be, offering a Starbucks ground floor coffee bar,Media Lounge & co-working space area and the Stylish Artful Critic Bar,13 Meeting Rooms and 1 Ballroom.

Putting our guests at the heart of everything you do, you make it your mission to ensure that you and your team deliver an exceptional guest experience and memorable stay. You will be supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing the food & beverage operations and ensuring high standards of service, compliance to health and safety practices, whilst maximising guest satisfaction consistently on each shift.

Key Duties:

• Oversee Bar services and maintain responsibility for beveragesin these spaces, ensuring that all functions run smoothly, and customer requirements are met.
• Liaise regularly with F&B Manager and operational teams both front of house and back of house on departmental performance and that they are updated on information or issues.
• Receive and respond to all customer feedback ensuring satisfaction regularly ensuring all guest feedback is dealt with in a professional and efficient manner.
• Take responsibility for stock ordering and inventory for each outlet, ensure that all equipment and materials are ready for service.
• Review daily sales and beverage costs and track against budget, plan and forecast future sales and revenue opportunities.

• Previous experience gained asHead Bartender or Assistant Bar Managerwithin a fast-paced environment with a passion for all things food and beverage.
• A Passion for hospitality – you are all about creating memorable experiences that leaves our guests wanting to come back again and again.
• Personable and engaging able to build rapport easily, with great communication skills both with internal departments and guests alike.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Not afraid to roll up your sleeves you can multi-task and also adapt to changing priorities, keeping a calm approach when under pressure.
• You will be a natural leader, with the ability to motivate,develop and coachthe teams skillsto reach their full potential.
