Job summary

The President Hotel in Bloomsbury, part of Imperial London Family of Hotels, seeks an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to oversee operations across our outlets. You will lead the F&B team, maintain high hygiene standards, manage stock and financial reporting, and ensure smooth daily service.

Join a busy 523-room hotel with an on-site restaurant and bar, opposite Russell Square. You’ll report to Operational leadership, recruit and onboard staff, and help drive guest satisfaction through

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Restaurant Manager or Food & Beverage Manager in hospitality.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage stock, budgets and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the service of food and beverages within outlets and maintain responsibility for kitchen, food preparation and beverage service.
• Report and liaise with Operational leadership and management regarding departmental performance and issues.
• Respond to customer feedback ensuring satisfaction and professional resolution of all concerns.
• Take responsibility for stock ordering and inventory for each outlet; ensure equipment and materials are ready for service.
• Ensure cash procedures are followed; review daily sales and beverage costs; plan and forecast future revenue opportunities.
• Recruit, onboard and develop F&B team members; prepare schedules to maintain adequate staffing.

We are now recruiting an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at ourPresident Hotel .Nestled opposite the picturesque Russell Square Gardens in the vibrant heart of Bloomsbury, the President Hotel offers an exciting workplace in the very center of London. With 523 rooms, a lively on-site restaurant and bar, and the unforgettable Faulty Towers Dining Experience, it’s a hub of energy, entertainment, and charm.

As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee the food & beverage operations across our outlets, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction. You will manage your F&B team, maintaining high hygiene and safety standards, managing stocks and financial reporting, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Duties:

• Oversee the service of food and beverages within the outlets and maintain overallresponsibility for the kitchen, food preparation, and beverage service throughout theoutlets.
• Report and liaise regularly with the Operational leadership and management teamregarding departmental performance and ensure they are informed of any relevantinformation or issues.
• Receive and respond to all customer feedback ensuring satisfaction regularly ensuring all guest feedback is dealt with in a professional and efficient manner.
• Take responsibility for stock ordering and inventory for each outlet, ensure that all equipment and materials are ready for service.
• Ensure that all cash procedures are adhered to and monitored. Review daily sales and beverage costs and track against budget, plan and forecast future sales and revenue opportunities.
• Responsible for recruiting, onboarding all F&B team members and inspiring them to deliver the best customer service at every opportunity, preparing schedules so that there is adequate staffing levels to run each shift.

• Previous experience gained as Restaurant Manager or Food & Beverage Manager in the hotel industry.
• A Passion for hospitality – you are all about creating memorable experiences that leaves our guests wanting to come back again and again.
• Personable and engaging able to build rapport easily, with great communication skills both with internal departments and guests alike.
• Excellent attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Not afraid to roll up your sleeves you can multi-task and also adapt to changing priorities, keeping a calm approach when under pressure.
• You will be a natural leader, with the ability to motivate and develop a team to develop their skills and knowledge and coach them to reach their full potential.
