Job summary

The Millennium Hotel Glasgow is seeking an experienced Night Manager to oversee all night-time operations and guest services. You will manage night audits, reconciliations and ensure security procedures are followed, while delivering warm, efficient hospitality in a Victorian city centre setting.

The role requires hotel and night audit experience, plus supervisory skills. Applicants should be able to work a 4 on/4 off rota and contribute to the team’s ongoing success.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience and night audit exposure are essential.
• Proven management or supervisory background is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and guest-relations skills required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving a hand-over from the Duty Manager and overseeing night service.
• Greeting guests at check-in and handling inquiries and queries.
• Ensuring accurate guest billing at check-out and timely payments.
• Ensuring night audit is completed accurately and on time.
• Maintaining hotel security and emergency procedures during night hours.
• Communicating effectively with Front Office Manager and team.

The Millennium Hotel Glasgow is seeking an experienced Night Manager who will be responsible for the smooth operation of the hotel during the night to ensure high standards of guest satisfaction are achieved consistently.

As Night Manager key responsibilities include:

• Receiving a hand-over from the Duty Manager and ensuring that all aspects of night service are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner, under your supervision
• Providing a warm welcome to guests on arrival at check-in and dealing with guest enquiries and resolving queries effectively
• Ensuring that guest billing is accurate on check-out and payment is received on departure complying with hotel procedures
• Ensuring the night audit function is completed accurately on a timely basis
• Ensuring all entrances to the hotel and car park are locked at an appropriate time and full night security measures are followed for the safety of staff and guests. This includes all hotel emergency/fire evacuation procedures complying with Health & Safety requirements
• Communicating effectively with the Front Office Manager and wider hotel team
