Millennium Hotel and Conference Centre Gloucester London is seeking a Reception Manager - Night this role is responsible for assisting and ensuring the night audit procedures are completed on a nightly basis and ensuring the safety and security of the complex in the absence of Senior Management.

About the Hotel

The Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is an impressive 4-star deluxe hotel in the heart of charming Kensington and a minutes' walk to Gloucester Road Underground station, allowing convenient access around London.

The hotel boasts 610 spacious guest rooms and Guests will be spoilt for choice with the array of dining facilities available, including the hugely popular Humphrey's Café & Bar, South West 7 and the Bombay Brasserie.

The hotel is also home to the Millennium Conference Centre which is the perfect place to host your event, with a variety of flexible meeting spaces, including 26 versatile function rooms covering a total of 1,600m2 and the capacity to accommodate up to 600 delegates. The impressive conservatory can cater for up to 300 guests and features palm trees, a piano, exclusive bar area and dance floor.

Reception Manager - Night Key Responsibilities will include:

• Managing the Front of House Operations during the Night shift, including, but not limited to ensuring staffing levels are adequate within all Departments to fulfil all departmental duties required such as – Room Service, Concierge, Kitchen, Switchboard, Security, Shift Engineer and the Bar
• Supporting the Night Auditors and Reception ensuring the maintenance of high standards at the Reception Desk
• Ensuring the market segment, nationalities and rates are correctly tracked and posted
• Ensure all rooms are saleable, assisting as required to ensure maximum availability
• To assist with the traffic management within the lobby minimising disturbances
• To organise and control the administration and operation of book-outs when required

The Experience & Qualifications for Reception Manager - Night:

• Ability to multi task
• Capacity to proactively manage the operation
• Knowledge of Opera, H&S, large hotel operations
• Skill in communication, guest service and leadership
