Job summary

Berkeley Scott are seeking an experienced Assistant Night Manager for a 4-star hotel in Glasgow. You will perform the same duties as the Night Manager and oversee hotel operations out of hours.

You will manage reception systems, billing and check-ins/outs, and train junior team members. Some shifts may be worked alone.

Ensure compliance and that all Nights H&S paperwork is up to date; salary is dependant on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Night Manager or Night Manager is essential.
• Ability to work alone on some shifts.

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Night Manager. You will be performing the same duties as the Night Manager and so experience in this is essential. You will also be working alone some of the time, so you must be an Assistant Night Manager who enjoys this responsability.

As Assistant Night Manager you will do the Night audit, fire walks and general looking after the hotel out of main hours. You will understand the systems on Reception, as well as performing simple reception duties such as billing, checking in and out etc.

You will have junior members of the team and so as Assistant Night Manager, you will train and develop these team members.

You will ensure the hotel is compliant and that all Nights H&S paperwork is up to date
