Job summary

Hampton by Hilton Newcastle is seeking a Guest Service Assistant to cover night shifts. 16–24 hours per week across 2–3 shifts, including midweek, weekends and bank holidays, with a focus on friendly guest service and smooth operations.

The role involves working across reception, bar and kitchen, checking guests in/out, serving drinks and snacks, and helping with breakfast setup while maintaining safety standards. Fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, ideally hotel/bar/restaurant.
• Availability for 16–24 hours per week across 2–3 shifts including weekends/bank holidays.
• Confident communicator with a friendly, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist across hotel departments including reception, bar and kitchen.
• Check guests in/out and manage bills/payments.
• Serve drinks and snacks; prepare simple food and breakfast setup.
• Overnight cleaning in public areas; help guests and ensure positive experiences.
• Follow food safety, licensing and health & safety policies.
