Job summary

Ibis Budget London Heathrow Central, part of the Accor Group, is seeking a Night Duty Manager to oversee overnight operations, guest satisfaction and security. You will manage night audits, liaise with departments, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure readiness for the next day.

The role requires experience in hotel front office or supervisory night roles, strong decision-making in emergencies, and proficiency with PMS systems (Opera Cloud preferred).

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front office or supervisory night role.
• Understanding of night audit procedures (training provided).
• Remain calm and decisive in emergencies or high-pressure situations.
• Self-reliant, responsible and proactive in solving problems.
• Tech-savvy with PMS familiarity (Opera Cloud preferred).
• Clear English communication (spoken and written).
• Right to work in the UK and ability to work overnight shifts (including weekends and holidays).

Responsibilities

• Oversee night audits, end-of-day reporting, and financial reconciliation
• Primary contact for all guest issues overnight
• Ensure efficient and professional check-ins/outs
• Monitor the building’s security and perform night safety checks
• Assist with cleaning, stock control, and light F&B duties
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Reception for next-day readiness
• Support and guide night staff on duty, ensuring policies and standards are followed
• Respond to fire alarms or incidents in line with the hotel’s emergency procedures
