Our client is seeking a Night Duty Manager at a luxury residential building in South East London.
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off - 19:00pm - 07:00am
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Development Manager with operational aspects of the development.
- Manage the concierge & security team.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and promote a service-oriented culture among staff and contractors, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Develop activities to enhance residents' lifestyle, centered around communal facilities.
Main Duties:
- Ensure efficient operation of all functions within the development, including concierge, health club, and residents' facilities, with regular checks.
- Recommend best practices for site operations to the Development Manager.
- Take responsibility for onsite systems, ensure staff training, and compliance with policies.
- Supervise and manage in-house staff daily, ensuring duties are performed according to job descriptions.
- Assist with hiring, training, and development of staff, including appraisals and reviews, in collaboration with HR and the Associate Director.
- Liaise with HR regarding training needs and performance issues; conduct staff appraisals and probationary meetings.
- Conduct inductions for new staff members.
- Ensure staff uniforms, badges, and PPE are worn and standards maintained; address appearance concerns promptly.
- Maintain staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage, complying with estate policies.
- Motivate and inspire the team to provide attentive, natural, and consistent front-of-house service, fostering good resident rapport.
- Implement health & safety policies, ensuring staff and contractors adhere to safety procedures, and manage day-to-day safety on-site.
- Oversee the Estates Administrator's work to ensure accurate and timely entry of resident data into the property database.
