Stephens Bakery is seeking a Despatch Operative to support order fulfilment across our bakery. You will pack and pick savoury products, inspect quality, read order lists, and help maintain hygiene while working on long shifts.

The role is full‑time, 39 hours per week with night shifts, starting pay £14.65 per hour. No prior bakery experience required as full training is provided; however, a positive can-do attitude and reliability are essential to thrive in our team.

Responsibilities

• Packing and picking savoury products and bread rolls.
• Inspecting products for quality and legal compliance.
• Reading order lists and counting products.
• Carrying out cleaning duties in the bakery and packaging area maintaining hygiene.
• Lifting, bending and stacking products for delivery.
