Job summary

Salvation Army Housing Association (saha) in Doncaster is seeking a Night Concierge to provide a waking, overnight presence on-site to safeguard residents and ensure building security. The role requires strong communication and resilience in challenging situations.

Based at the Doncaster Foyer, the position operates on a rota basis including weekends and offers a comprehensive benefits package and development opportunities within a supportive charity housing provider.

Qualifications

• Be a confident and capable communicator, not fazed by difficult situations.
• Be able to build trusting, professional relationships and have a high level of resilience.
• Take an asset-based approach to empowering people to develop their skills, strengths and talents.
• Have good knowledge or experience of working with homeless people, and / or supporting vulnerable people or groups.
• Understand or learn about community resources and organisations that can help our clients

Responsibilities

• The Night Concierge will provide a waking, overnight on-site presence in the Service, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and the security of the building.
