Job summary

The NICI Collection in the United Kingdom is seeking a reliable Night Porter to ensure overnight safety, assist guests, and support the Night Manager while maintaining high standards of hospitality.

You will welcome guests at night, conduct security checks, assist with arrivals/departures, prepare meeting spaces, and coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth start to the day.

Qualifications

• Reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work independently.
• Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests throughout the night with a friendly and professional approach.
• Carry out regular security patrols of the hotel and report any issues promptly.
• Support with guest arrivals, departures, and luggage assistance where required.
• Set up meeting rooms and public areas as requested.
• Complete overnight cleaning and preparation tasks to ensure the hotel is ready for the morning.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues where possible.
• Assist with emergency procedures and ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
• Work closely with the Night Manager and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
