Job summary

THE NICI Collection in the UK is seeking an Overnight Hotel Assistant to support the hotel during quieter night hours, balancing guest interaction with practical duties, staying on site to keep guests supported and the property organised for the morning shift.

You will work with the Night Manager and hotel team, handling late arrivals, checking rooms and public areas, maintaining cleanliness, and reporting incidents.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently during night shifts.
• Strong observation and reporting skills.
• Experience in hotel, hospitality, security or customer service is advantageous; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Look after guests overnight with professional, helpful service.
• Assist with late arrivals and early departures with information and practical support.
• Monitor hotel overnight and report safety or maintenance issues.
• Conduct checks of guest and public areas.
• Maintain clean, tidy and presentable communal areas.
• Prepare areas for the morning team and assist with event/space set-ups as needed.
• Record and report incidents or guest concerns.
• Follow security, fire safety and health procedures.
• Collaborate with Night Manager and other departments for a smooth night operation.
