Job summary

Worcester Whitehouse Hotel is seeking a reliable Night Porter to support night operations, ensuring guest safety and a welcoming environment from 23:00 to 07:00. This part-time, live-out role is 15 hours per week, with two 7.5 hour shifts including weekends and bank holidays.

You will patrol public areas, respond to incidents, assist with late check-ins/early check-outs, monitor CCTV, handle luggage, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth handovers.

Responsibilities

• Patrol public areas and hotel premises to maintain security and safety during night hours
• Respond promptly to guest requests, emergencies, or incidents during the night shift
• Assist with late check-ins and early check-outs, providing efficient guest service
• Perform cleaning duties in public areas including lobby, corridors, restrooms, and entrances
• Monitor and operate security systems, alarms, and CCTV cameras as required
• Handle luggage storage and transportation for arriving and departing guests
• Maintain clear and accurate logs of night activities and incidents
• Support emergency procedures and fire safety protocols as needed
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless handovers and communication
