Job summary

Platform Housing Group is seeking a Night Concierge for Heenan Court, Worcester on a fixed-term contract until 26 February 2027. The role focuses on safety, security and cleanliness for residents supported by 19 self-contained studio flats.

You will work the 9pm to 12am window, with a sleep-in shift to 7am, totaling 10.5 hours per week including sleep-ins paid at £63.63 per night. The post is predominantly solo with occasional handovers and team meetings.

Qualifications

• Awareness of working with vulnerable adults is desirable.
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
• Great interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience in a customer-facing role in a housing organisation.
• Keen to deliver high standards and look to improve services.
• Confidence using digital devices, ICT software and systems.
• Comfortable with lone-working, while also part of a wider team.
• A driving licence and own vehicle or means to travel to locations is essential; Worcestershire base.
• An Enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a night concierge and cleaning service.
• Ensure safety and security of residents and building.
• Undertake cleaning of all communal areas.
• Work predominantly solo, with handover time and occasional collaboration with other teams.
