The Salvation Army Homes is seeking a Night Concierge to provide overnight on-site presence for 26 young men aged 18-25 at The Limes, Longsight, Manchester. You will maintain safety, build supportive relationships, and uphold Licence and Good Neighbour responsibilities.
Working 4 days on / 4 days off from 10pm to 8am, the role requires calm decision-making, empathy, and a proactive can-do attitude to transform lives while safeguarding residents and property.
monitoring CCTV, complete Health & Safety Checks & patrols. Respond promptly to reports of property repairs and maintenance issues within the accommodation, following appropriate procedures.
Be a confident and capable communicator, with the ability to de-escalate difficult situations. Be able to build trusting, professional relationships and have a high level of resilience. Take an asset-based approach to empowering people to develop their skills, strengths and talents. Have good knowledge or experience of working with homeless people, and / or supporting vulnerable people or groups. A proactive, motivated and can-do attitude.
Service based at The Limes, Longsight, Manchester. Rota based includes weekends (working 4 days on/4 days off, shift times 10pm 8am).
