Social Interest Group (SIG) is seeking a Night Services Worker to support residents in a calm, compassionate and safety-focused environment in London. The role covers night shifts on a rolling rota, requiring strong communication and independent work during quieter hours.
You will monitor welfare, respond to incidents, complete handovers, and help residents build confidence while maintaining a clean, welcoming space. Training and wellbeing support are provided.
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, shifts are overnight on a rolling rota ranging between 20:00 - 08:30, working on average 3/4 days a week which may mean weekly hours vary slightly. You will be required to work weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota, in line with the needs of the service.
We're looking for someone who understands the importance of compassion, routine, and safety especially at night and who's ready to make a difference in a calm, consistent way. Whether you've worked in supported housing before or bring transferable skills from another role, what matters most is if you're dependable, care about people, and want to make a difference during quieter hours.
SIG is a not-for-profit organisation providing thousands of people with good-quality support and care in residential, drop-in centres, community floating support settings, probation settings, and hospitals. We do so across London, Brighton, Bedfordshire, Luton, Kent and Liverpool. Our goal is to transform lives through empowering change. We believe good care and support improves lives with the vision to create healthier, safer, and more inclusive communities. Join us on our mission to empower independence through trauma-informed solutions and dynamic partnerships that keep people out of prison, out of hospital, and off the streets.
