Job summary

Agincare is recruiting a Night Care Team Leader for The Croft Care Home in Chesham. You will lead a care team during night shifts, ensuring high-quality personal care, activities, and safe medication administration while supporting residents to maintain independence.

You will work with families and health professionals to create a warm, home-like environment and participate in ongoing training up to QCF Level 5. This role requires leadership, compassion and a commitment to excellent care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in social care.
• Night shift availability required.
• Right to work in the UK for at least 12 months.
• Ability to lead and support a care team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and daily living.
• Encourage independence and wellbeing.
• Plan and participate in activities and outings.
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping.

• 42 hours per week (night shifts)
• Availability to work alternate weekends

Your role:

• Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship
• Support residents with personal care and daily living

• Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals
• Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management
