Job summary

Agincare is seeking an experienced Care Team Leader at Rodley House in Lydney to support and guide the care team while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.

You will oversee personal care, daily living activities and medication administration, collaborating with families and health professionals to promote wellbeing and independence. The role operates on a 4-week rolling rota with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in social care.
• Experience with medication is required.
• Experience in a senior or team leader role in care is required.
• 30 hours per week with a 4 weekly rolling rota.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship.
• Support residents with personal care and daily living.
• Encourage independence and wellbeing.
• Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings.
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
• Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management.

• At least 2 years’ experience in social care
• 30 hours per week (day shifts)
• Experience with medication is required
• Experience in a senior or team leader role in care is required
• The role is on a 4 weekly rolling rota, the shift pattern will be 7:45am to 20:15pm:
• Week 1 - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
• Week 2 - Monday, Friday, Sunday
• Week 3 - Monday and Thursday
• Week 4 - Saturday and Sunday

Your role:
