Oakland Care in Harpenden is looking for a compassionate Night Care Assistant to support residents overnight, providing help with personal care, mobility, and safety while maintaining a calm, reassuring environment. Hours: 40.25 per week. Pay: £13.20 per hour.

Contract: Full time. Shift: Nights. As part of our team you will receive benefits including a free meal per shift, uniform provided, enhanced Bank Holiday pay, extra annual leave after 3 years, Cycle to Work, and more.

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude.
• Be a compassionate and caring person.
• Be a true team player.
• Have experience working as a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker– This is advantageous but not essential as full training is given.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent care and support to our residents throughout the night.
• Assisting with mobility, comfort and safety needs.
• Carry out regular checks and respond to any night-time requirements.
• Keep accurate records and communicate effectively.
• Maintain a calm, reassuring environment for our residents.
