Oakland Care in Eastbourne is seeking a dedicated Night Care Assistant to support our residents through the night with compassion and professionalism. You will assist with personal care activities, monitor wellbeing, and work as part of a caring team to maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

The role offers full-time hours, a 40.25-hour week, and pay at £13.20 per hour. The setting values dignity, respect, and high-quality overnight care for every resident in our home.

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude.
• Be a compassionate and caring person.
• Be a true team player.
• Have experience working as a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker – this is advantageous but not essential as full training is given.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent care and support to our residents throughout the night.
• Assist with mobility, comfort and safety needs.
• Carry out regular checks and respond to any night-time requirements.
• Keep accurate records and communicate effectively.
• Maintain a calm, reassuring environment for our residents.
