Job summary

Oakland Care in Eastbourne is seeking a dedicated Night Care Assistant to provide compassionate care during the night. You will support residents with personal care, mobility and comfort, while maintaining dignity and safety throughout the shift.

The role offers full-time hours, a pay rate of £13.20 per hour, and benefits. Training is provided, and you’ll work as part of a friendly team to ensure residents feel safe, respected and well cared for during the night.

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude.
• Be a compassionate and caring person.
• Be a true team player.
• Experience as Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent care and support to our residents throughout the night.
• Assisting with mobility, comfort and safety needs.
• Carry out regular checks and respond to any night-time requirements.
• Keep accurate records and communicate effectively.
• Maintain a calm, reassuring environment for our residents.
