Job summary

Roseberry Care Centres is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our caring community at Ashlea Court, Waltham, Grimsby. You will support residents with personal care, meals and activities, helping maximise independence and quality of life.

We value kindness, empathy and teamwork. NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care is preferred; 33–44 hours per week with night shifts and alternate weekends. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care preferred.
• 1+ year care experience is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills are required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting and continence care.
• Help with mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and a friendly presence to residents.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition.

Salary: £12.76 Per Hour

Your Role:

As a Care Assistant you will support our residents in their day to day lives including providing personal care, social activities, and meals times to promote independence and maximise their quality of life.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Support mental and emotional well-being
• Observe and report changes in a client’s physical or emotional condition
