Job summary

Roseberry Care is seeking a Night Senior Care Assistant at Ashlea Court in Grimsby. You will provide hands‑on care to residents during night shifts and supervise junior staff to ensure high standards of person‑centred care.

The role includes 33 hours per week with alternate weekends, based at Church Lane, Waltham, Grimsby. Applicants should have experience as a Senior Carer in a care home, NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it), and strong leadership and communication

Night Senior Care Assistant – Ashlea Court

Location: Church Lane, Waltham, Grimsby, DN37 0ES. Salary: £13.25 per hour. Hours: 33 hours per week Night shifts with alternate weekends. Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Your Role

As a Senior Care Assistant you will provide both hands‑on support to residents and leadership to junior care staff within our local care home. Providing direct caregiving with supervisory responsibilities, you will ensure that our high standards of person‑centred care are consistently delivered.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Assisting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, etc.).
• Promote dignity, independence, and individual rights of residents.
• Supervise and support junior care staff and new team members.
• Monitoring residents’ conditions and report any changes to senior management or nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, ensuring they feel listened to and respected.
• Ensure the care environment is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
