Job summary

Quantum Care’s Riverside Lodge in Rickmansworth seeks a dedicated Night Care Assistant to provide person‑centred care and support to residents overnight. The role is based at a luxury 75-bed home offering residential, dementia and respite care in elegant surroundings.

You will be part of a welcoming team, delivering compassionate care and maintaining residents’ independence with dignity. Training and shifts including weekends ensure flexible, rewarding work in the UK care sector.

Qualifications

• You’ll be naturally compassionate and patient.
• Training will be provided.
• A willingness to be trained and to achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• The ability to work shifts (including weekends and evenings).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
• Assisting residents with daily activities promoting independence
• Building positive and professional relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• Follow individual personalised care plans
• Working as a part of a team to deliver high quality of person‑centred care
• Ensuring residents are safe and comfortable through the night.

As a Night Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person‑centered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You’ll Bring

• You’ll be naturally compassionate and patient, it is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because as long as you have a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first‑class training will do the rest.
• You’ll be willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Training will be provided.
• A willingness to be trained and to achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• The ability to work shifts (including weekends and evenings).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.
