Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Care Assistant to join their team in the UK. The role involves companionship, personal care, medication support, meals, domestic tasks, mobility assistance and facilitating social activities within the home.

There are full-time and part-time positions available, with alternate weekends. The company offers a refer-a-friend scheme, training up to QCF level 5, pension, and on-demand pay, among other benefits.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
• Shift patterns include 14:00–20:00 and 20:00–08:00
• Full-time and part-time positions available with alternate weekends

Responsibilities

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care - supporting with a wash, bath or shower and assisting with dressing and oral care
• Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams
• Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility
• Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home

A day in the life of a Care Assistant
