Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Night Care Assistant for a Rochester care home. The role runs 8pm–8am with options for 24 or 36 hours per week, including alternate weekends. Previous care home experience is required, along with a minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.

• Companionship and engagement with residents

• Light domestic tasks and cleaning
• Mobility support to promote independence
• Participation in social activities and outings within the home

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
• Opportunities Available:
• Night Care Assistant to work 24 hours per week from 8pm to 8am to include working alternative weekends.
• Night Care Assistant to work 36 hours per week from 8pm to 8am to include working alternative weekends.
• Previous experience working within a care home is required for these roles

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care -supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
• Medication -Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
