Job summary

Novotel Southampton is seeking a reliable Night Auditor to keep the hotel running smoothly through the night. This full-time role offers up to £28,125 per year and a chance to develop within a growing hotel portfolio.

You will work independently, handle overnight financial and administrative tasks, assist guests with check-ins, and ensure safety and operational standards while maintaining guest service. Located in central Southampton, the role provides variety, weekend shifts, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Good administrative and organisational skills.
• Confidence using computer systems and learning new software.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Night Audit process accurately and efficiently.
• Process overnight financial and administrative reports.
• Monitor safety, security and smooth operation of the hotel.
• Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs and overnight enquiries.
• Manage overnight incidents and operational issues professionally.
• Complete handovers and communicate key information to the day team.
• Ensure all systems, reports and procedures are completed accurately.
• Maintain high standards of guest service throughout the night.
• Support breakfast service at weekends when required.
