Job summary

Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel & Spa is seeking a Night Auditor to ensure the smooth running of the hotel during the night shift while maintaining exceptional service standards. You will conduct nightly audits, check guests in and out, and respond to queries with professionalism.

The ideal candidate has strong numerical and analytical skills, experience in front desk or auditing within hospitality, and the ability to work independently overnight.

Qualifications

• Previous front desk or auditing experience in hospitality preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently during night hours.
• Knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly audits of hotel revenue and financial transactions.
• Reconcile daily income and prepare end-of-day reports.
• Check guests in and out during the night shift.
• Maintain safety and security overnight.
• Respond to guest queries and resolve issues during the night.
• Coordinate with day shift for seamless operations.
• Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions.
• Prepare for next day’s arrivals and requests.
