Mitie Group plc. is hiring a Retail Support Security Officer for M&S locations across Belfast, Lisburn and surrounding areas.

You’ll help create a safe, welcoming and secure environment for customers and colleagues while protecting store assets. We’re looking for calm, professional individuals who can stay alert in a fast-paced retail setting, use store technology, and work as part of a team to prevent loss and respond to incidents.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience is preferred.
• A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm, confident and professional approach.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
• A genuine passion for customer service and keeping people safe.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming and secure environment for customers and colleagues.

Retail Support Security Officer - M&S

Location: Belfast, Lisburn, Abbey Centre Belfast, Boucher Road, Foyleside & surrounding areas

Salary - £16.50 per hour

Applicant must have own transport due to locations

Join M&S as a Security Officer, where you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and secure environment for our customers and colleagues.

We're looking for confident, customer-focused individuals who can combine strong awareness with a warm and approachable attitude. You'll be a visible presence in store, helping customers feel supported while playing an important role in keeping the business safe and secure.

• At M&S, our customers don't wait. You'll operate in a fast-paced retail environment, staying alert, responsive and ready to step in when needed.
• Customer service is at the heart of the role. You'll create a welcoming store environment, greeting customers as they start shopping with us, while delivering professional support to both customers and colleagues.
• You'll help keep our stores safe and secure. From preventing loss and responding to incidents, to identifying risks and supporting safe ways of working, you'll play a key role in protecting the M&S environment.
• Being digitally confident is essential. You'll use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body-worn cameras, to support store operations and incident management.
