Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 4 Patient Pathway Coordinator (CAT Team 1 ENT, Maxillofacial & Plastic Surgery) to join the Planned Care service at Reading and Townlands Hospital sites.

The role provides administrative and pathway coordination support, requires excellent IT and data entry skills, and involves handling patient communications, appointment scheduling, and clinic correspondence in a fast-paced NHS environment.

Qualifikationen

• Customer Care or acquired equivalent experience or GCSE or equivalent
• Experience of using full range of IT systems including accurate data entry, typing and checking skills
• Ability to use own judgement to resolve problems and queries competently, including those of a sensitive and confidential nature
• Experience of using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Experience of working in a healthcare setting
• Customer Care experience
• Experience of handling patient/customer queries

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Clinical Team.
• Support the CAT in delivering a patient-focused service and manage general admin duties, telephone calls, appointments and clinic letters.
• Work within NHS procedures, manage data across electronic and paper systems and ensure quality service.
• Knowledge of the 18 week pathway is beneficial.
