Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an IT Service Desk Operator – Level 1 in Exeter for a 6-month, on-site role. Restore IT assistance with NHS staff, after a 1-month training period you’ll work independently and cover frontline duties.

Hours are 37.5 per week, with shift patterns 08:00–20:00, Monday to Friday plus weekends and bank holidays. A-Level IT or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• IT qualification or relevant work experience.
• Experience providing frontline IT support.
• A-Level or equivalent IT education.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to NHS staff.
• Handle switchboard duties and call volume.
• Work shifts 08:00–20:00, Mon–Fri, including weekends/bank holidays.
