Job summary

NHS Professionals is recruiting a Band 4 IT Engineer – Service Desk in Coventry. This 22.5 hour per week role requires a flexible rota, regular site visits during training and a 60% onsite hybrid pattern thereafter.

You will act as the primary contact for IT incidents, provide first line support, and ensure calls are answered within SLA while following ITIL processes. A+ and IT certifications along with GCSEs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven GCSEs in Mathematics and English at grade C or higher.
• Certifications in A+, IT Technician or equivalent.
• Foundation ITIL v3 qualification, ECDL advanced, Microsoft cert.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls within defined timeframe.
• Answer calls confidently and professionally.
• Keep call lengths within SLA.
• Maintain acceptable time between calls.
• Resolve a percentage of calls at first point of contact.
