Job summary

Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is seekingAppointments and Referrals Co-ordinators to join our busy team across Pontefract and Dewsbury sites. You will support Cardiac, Respiratory and Sleep Services with efficient patient administration and appointment coordination.

The role involves navigating PAS and other systems, data extraction in Excel, and maintaining high-quality patient pathways in a fast-paced NHS environment. Two full-time and one part-time positions available.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and Maths required.
• NVQ 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
• ECDL or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and navigate multiple computer systems including PAS, electronic referrals and Excel.
• Work in fast-paced environment managing competing demands with interruptions.
• Enter accurate information across systems while speaking with patients.
• Provide dedicated service to specialties, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to keep outpatient clinics utilized.
• Using Excel, extract and filter patients from PTL to match clinical priority and national targets before booking.
• Book, cancel and rearrange appointments per the Trust’s policy.
