Job summary

Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust invites a Registered Nurse to join the Gynaecology Outpatients team, covering Dewsbury, Pinderfields and Pontefract sites. You will support clinics, prepare patients for exams, and contribute to a compassionate, high-quality care environment for women attending various outpatient procedures and consultations.

The role requires NMC registration and a patient-centred approach within a modern, supportive trust.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Experience in outpatient clinics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supporting outpatient clinics (General Gynaecology, Colposcopy, Urogynaecology and Hysteroscopy).
• Preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
• Delivering health education and advice.
• Maintaining accurate patient records.
• Ensuring infection control and safety standards.
• Chaperoning during intimate examinations.
• Supporting minor procedures.
• Working within Nurse led Clinics.
