DHU Healthcare in Derby is recruiting an NHS 111 Health Advisor (Call Handler) to join a Courteous, professional team. The role uses the NHS 111 Pathways system to handle calls ranging from prescription repeats to escalations, including ambulance dispatch when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within Customer Service.
• Possess excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
• Work quickly and accurately under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide variety of NHS 111 calls using Pathways system.
• Escalate calls to a Clinical Advisor when needed.
• Dispatch an ambulance in more serious cases.
• Provide safe and effective care with empathy and attention to detail.
