A leading media organization in London seeks a skilled Publisher to ensure the highest quality of content. You will sub-edit and craft articles across various sections, bringing creativity to headlines and visuals. Collaboration with senior staff is vital, as is the ability to meet tight deadlines. Publishers ensure that Telegraph content is of the highest quality. You will sub‑edit and build articles across News, World and Comment, interrogating copy and ensuring it is tight and accurate, and optimise pieces for audience, platforms and search.
Working in a fast‑moving and often pressurised environment, you will be capable of publishing numerous articles a day with accuracy and flair. You will use video, pictures and graphics creatively to make articles visually engaging and should be able to write strong headlines.
When required, publishers sub, build and send newsletters, develop simple visuals, and run live blogs. The role also involves acting up on the rota as required.
This role will report into the News Chief Sub.
