• This leading regional law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to actively develop the commercial litigation department. Your input will directly influence your success.
• The firm is experiencing increased activity and aims to hire a junior but highly skilled Commercial Litigator.
• The caseload will include shareholder disputes, contentious probate, building disputes, professional negligence disputes, and partnership disputes.
• This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the partner, ideal for someone ambitious and eager to progress their career.
• The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for Commercial Litigation and some working knowledge across all aspects of commercial litigation.
• Ideally, you will have experience from a leading national or regional law firm and seek a change to join a firm committed to your career development.
• You should have handled a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters and possess a strong regional network of contacts who can instruct you on future cases.
• Business development and local marketing enthusiasm are desirable.
• You should demonstrate proven experience in the full litigation process, advising UK and international corporations, governments, and high net worth individuals.
• Your work will include disclosure, case management, drafting witness statements, attending trials, and participating in settlement negotiations, arbitration, and mediation.
