Job description

Leading national law firm is seeking a Newly Qualified Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their team in Bristol. The role offers an excellent starting salary, comprehensive benefits, and a clear career progression path. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements are available.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Handling a caseload of commercial litigation matters such as shareholder disputes, contentious probate, building disputes, professional negligence, and partnership disputes.
2. Working directly with a partner to develop the commercial litigation department.
3. Engaging in business development and marketing within the regional market.
4. Managing all aspects of litigation, including disclosure, case management, drafting witness statements, and attending trials, as well as participating in settlement negotiations, arbitration, and mediation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in a leading national or regional law firm.
• A genuine passion for commercial litigation.
• Experience advising UK and international clients, including corporations, governments, and high-net-worth individuals.
• A strong network of contacts within the regional market.
• Proven experience in the full litigation process.
