Job description

Commercial law firm in Bristol is looking to recruit a Corporate lawyer with 0 to 3 years’ PQE. The department is experiencing substantial growth, creating the need for additional resources to support ambitious future plans. The team is well-regarded and advises clients at various stages of the business lifecycle, including start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, buy-outs and buy-ins, development capital fundraisings, refinancing, and exits. They are also highly experienced in international corporate deals and collaborate with overseas law firms on cross-border transactions. The team comprises specialist sub-teams in private equity, venture capital, and incentives/EOT, and plays a leading role in several firm-wide sector specialisms such as Energy and Infrastructure, Healthcare, Automotive, Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Insurance, Transport and Logistics, and Corporate Real Estate.

The successful candidate will work across the Corporate team, contributing individually and supporting the team’s growth. Responsibilities include advising on acquisitions, mergers, and disposals of companies and businesses, handling transactions for investors, and engaging in international deals. The role involves drafting and negotiating legal documents and advising clients in a collaborative environment under the supervision of partners. Candidates who are already qualified should have a specialization in Corporate law, while newly-qualified applicants should ideally have completed a seat in Corporate law.
