Job description

Leading National Law firm is looking to appoint a Newly Qualified Commercial Litigation Solicitor into their team in Bristol. On offer is an excellent starting salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and a clear structured career path. Flexible and hybrid working patterns are also available.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Play an active role in the development of the commercial litigation department.
2. Handle a caseload comprising shareholder disputes, contentious probate, building disputes, professional negligence disputes, and partnership disputes.
3. Work directly alongside the partner, contributing to the firm's success.
4. Demonstrate a genuine passion for Commercial Litigation with some working knowledge of all aspects of commercial litigation.
5. Handle a mixed caseload and advise UK and international clients, including corporations, governments, and high net worth individuals.
6. Engage in all litigation processes, including disclosure, case management, drafting witness statements, attending trials, and participating in settlement negotiations, arbitration, and mediation.
7. Be proactive in business development and marketing within the local area.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Ideally have experience within a leading national or regional law firm.
2. Possess proven experience in full litigation processes.
3. Have a strong network of contacts within the regional market.
