Job description

We’re looking for a talented New Business Development Manager to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience within previous business development roles (minimum 5 years) and the ability to build a high-quality pipeline.

If that’s you, then you could be exactly what they’re looking for.

The Role:

As the New Business Development Manager, you’ll report to the Pre-Construction Director and will be primarily responsible for securing new sources of viable business. You will be required to expand the company's presence into previously undeveloped areas of the Construction industry.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing new business relationships, generating, and negotiating new revenue streams for the company.
  2. Utilizing business contacts and relationships to ensure the company is aware of upcoming projects.
  3. Representing the company at key exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in business development roles, with a proven track record of building strong sales pipelines and managing multi-million-pound sales projects with lengthy sales cycles.

Additional requirements include:

  • A strong background in new business sales.
  • Relevant industry knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.

The ideal person will also be:

  • Flexible, willing to network, attend, and speak at events.
  • Proactive and driven for success.
  • Able to work autonomously while contributing as a productive team member.

The Package:

Basic salary: £50,000 – £80,000 per annum plus bonuses (negotiable DOE). A personal and company performance bonus is also available; full details will be provided upon application.
