Job summary

The People Pod in Greater Manchester seeks an experienced Development Executive to generate new commercial insurance opportunities across Haulage, Transport, Logistics, Waste & Recycling, Construction and High-Risk Liability sectors. You will leverage your market knowledge, network and introduced leads to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the UK Commercial Insurance market.
• Proven track record of winning new business.
• Experience within Haulage / Transport / Logistics, Waste & Recycling, Construction or High-Risk Liability.
• Strong relationship-building and business development skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated with ability to manage your own pipeline.
• Existing book of business or strong network within one of these sectors is advantageous but not essential.
• Cert CII or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and win new commercial insurance opportunities within your specialist sector.
• Build relationships with clients, introducers and key industry contacts.
• Use your existing network and market knowledge to identify new opportunities.
• Lead new business activity from prospecting through to conversion.
• Deliver a high-quality, consultative experience to prospective clients.
