Job summary

Active Care Group is recruiting a Quality & Learning Development Nurse for Hunters Moor in Birmingham. The role combines clinical shifts with leadership in education, quality assurance and governance to enhance neuro services for adults.

You will translate learning into safe, evidence-based practice while maintaining clinical exposure in a complex setting. You will drive induction, mandatory neuro training and competency development, with regular liaison to senior governance and leadership teams

Qualifications

• Current NMC Pin registration (RN) required.
• Experience in neurological and complex care essential.
• Experience with tracheostomies, spinal patients and complex cases.
• Desirable knowledge of Motor Neurone Disease or neurology.
• Experience supervising and developing support workers.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality improvement and learning initiatives within the neuro service.
• Deliver mandatory and specialist neuro training to staff.
• Coach clinical teams in evidence-based neurorehabilitation.
• Support induction and competency assessment of new staff.
• Collaborate with governance to review incidents and audit outcomes.
• Ensure learning aligns with national guidance and organisational priorities.
