Job summary

Active Care Group in York is seeking a Quality Learning & Development Nurse to lead clinical quality improvements and learning across our Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation Centre. The role combines clinical practice with education, governance and staff development, on a rota including one weekly clinical shift.

You will work closely with the Learning & Development team to translate evidence into practice, maintain competency, and deliver neuro training, while reporting to the

Qualifications

• A current NMC Pin registration (RN).
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Experience in neurological and complex care required.
• Experience with tracheostomies, spinal patients and complex cases.
• Knowledge of Motor Neurone Disease or related conditions preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in clinical quality, professional practice and workforce capability across the neuro service.
• Lead the local learning agenda and deliver mandatory and specialist neuro training.
• Support governance, policy implementation and incident learning.
• Ensure learning programmes reflect current evidence and national guidance.
