Job summary

Active Neuro in Nottingham is seeking a Quality Learning & Development Nurse to drive improvements in clinical quality and workforce development. The role combines clinical shifts with education, governance and accreditation readiness, reporting to the Nursing & Quality leadership and Learning & Development teams.

The post requires ongoing clinical shifts in the neuro service, leadership of local learning initiatives and delivery of mandatory and specialist training.

Qualifications

• Current NMC Pin registration and UK working rights.
• Experience in neurological care and complex patient management.
• Experience with tracheostomies and spinal patients.
• Ability to lead education, coaching and preceptorship.
• Evidence-based practice and outcome measurement knowledge.
• Supervisory experience with support workers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and lead quality learning initiatives across the neuro service.
• Conduct clinical shifts weekly and act as clinical lead.
• Drive CQI and governance activities and safety reporting.
• Support induction and competency development for staff.
• Collaborate with governance teams and clinicians.
