Job summary

Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys (TWGSB) is seeking a dynamic Network Support Technician to join our busy IT department. The role focuses on maintaining IT software, hardware and related equipment and providing support to staff and students to maximise administration and learning outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 Diploma in IT and proven IT environment experience, with strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) in IT.
• Experience in an IT environment and working with relevant software and networks is preferred.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Network Support Technician to join our busy and well-respected IT department here at TWGSB. Come and join an IT service that is dedicated to empowering people through technology!

The purpose of this role is predominantly to support the use of IT within the school environment through maintenance of IT software, hardware and related equipment, and provide support to staff and students to ensure administration and learning outcomes are maximised. As a Network Technician you will be providing first-line support and interacting with many stakeholders within the school, including staff and students.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) in IT and proven experience in an IT environment and working with relevant software and networks. You must be able to demonstrate you have strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

The main campus for TWGSB is in Tunbridge Wells. However, you may be required to work at other campuses connected to TWGSB.
