Job summary

PureKat Consultancy client near Fulbourn is seeking a Network Service Lead to head the technical service function, prioritise work and provide expert support to customers. You will line-manage the technical team, own escalations, configure accounts and equipment, support onboarding, maintain records and monitor network issues.

An ideal candidate has a strong background in RTK, GNSS or precision positioning, telecoms, and the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users; driving

• Experience supervising, mentoring or line management.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Network Service Lead

Location: Close to Fulbourn

Salary: £negotiable DOE

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (flexibility required due to the nature of the role)

Contract Type: Full time, permanent

Our client based close to Fulbourn is seeking an Network Service Lead to join there team on a full time, permanent basis.

As Network Service Lead you will be responsible for:

• Leading the technical service function.
• Allocating and prioritising work
• Providing technical support to customers
• Line manage, support and develop members of the technical team.
• Take ownership of escalated issues
• Create and configure accounts
• Configure and test equipment.
• Support onboarding of customers
• Maintain accurate records.
• Monitor/rectify network issues
• Developing processes/documentation.

An ideal candidate for the Network Service Lead will have:

• A strong technical background in RTK, GNSS, precision positioning, telecommunications, connected equipment or a closely related field.
• Practical experience with some of the technologies that support RTK delivery
• The ability to quickly understand unfamiliar systems and equipment
• The ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users
• Experience supervising, mentoring or line managing
• Strong organisational skills
• A full UK driving licence.

Ideally you will have experience within a similar position.
