Job summary

PureKat Consultancy is seeking a Network Engineer to join our team near Fulbourn on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting networks, installing equipment, routing cables, and supporting site surveys.

The ideal candidate will have CCTV/telecoms/security systems or network infrastructure experience, outdoor installation capability, electrical competence and a full UK driving licence. Interviews will be held near Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire.

Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Close to Fulbourn

Salary: £negotiable DOE

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (flexibility required due to the nature of the role)

Contract Type: Full time, permanent

Our client based close to Fulbourn is seeking an Network Engineer to join there team on a full time, permanent basis.

As Network Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining / troubleshooting network
• Installing/replacing equipment
• Cable routing
• Diagnosing faults
• Supporting site surveys
• Carrying out electrical work / working safely at height
• Keeping accurate site records.

An ideal candidate for the Network Engineerwill have:

• CCTV, telecoms, security systems or network infrastructure experience
• Outdoor equipment installation experience
• Electrical competence and/or certification
• Strong fault finding skills
• Practical knowledge of IP networking, routers, mobile data
• A full UK driving license
