Job summary

PureKat Consultancy is seeking a Network Engineer near Fulbourn to maintain and trouble-shoot networks, install equipment, route cabling and support site surveys. You will diagnose faults and ensure safe electrical work on site. A full UK driving licence is required.

Ideal candidates have CCTV/telecoms or security systems experience, strong fault-finding skills, and knowledge of IP networking and routers. This full-time role offers permanent employment with negotiable salary DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience with CCTV, telecoms, security systems or network infrastructure.
• Outdoor equipment installation experience is desired.
• Electrical competence/certification is preferred.
• Strong fault-finding skills are essential.
• Practical knowledge of IP networking, routers and mobile data.
• A full UK driving licence is required.

Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Close to Fulbourn

Salary: £negotiable DOE

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:0am - 5:00pm (flexibility required due to the nature of the role)

Contract Type: Full time, permanent

Our client based close to Fulbourn is seeking an Network Engineer to join there team on a full time, permanent basis.

As Network Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining / troubleshooting network
• Installing/replacing equipment
• Cable routing
• Diagnosing faults
• Supporting site surveys
• Carrying out electrical work / working safely at height
• Keeping accurate site records.

An ideal candidate for the Network Engineerwill have:

• CCTV, telecoms, security systems or network infrastructure experience
• Outdoor equipment installation experience
• Electrical competence and/or certification
• Strong fault finding skills
• Practical knowledge of IP networking, routers, mobile data
• A full UK driving license

Ideally you will have experience within a similar position.

Interviews will take place near Fubourn, Cambridgshire.
