Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and collaborate with technical experts dedicated to making a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work, helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The Network Operations Centre (NOC) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and contractual KPIs. This role involves working in a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in accordance with KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Allocate and dispatch tickets to technical support, field engineering teams, and other service providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular and comprehensive updates.
• Coordinate traffic management, liaising with traffic providers, regional control, and field resources.
• Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
• Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
